The American University in Cairo is one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the Middle East, where many of the region’s current leaders studied.
In designing these buildings within its new campus we had the opportunity to work together with several architects and achieve an architecture adapted to the Arab world yet in a contemporary, up-to-date language.
It is a question of creating a series of human-scale, pedestrian spaces that build a city of knowledge.
